How the Flextribe Timeline Works
In Flextribe, we categorise consultant statuses using a colour-coded system, making it easy to get an overview at a glance:
🟢 Green – Active Project (Consultant is currently engaged in a project)
⚪ Grey – Potential Extension (Existing project may be extended)
🔵 Blue – Potential Booking (Consultant is being considered for a new project)
🔴 Red – On Bench (Consultant is currently without an assignment)
📌 With these colour indicators, management can instantly see where consultants stand and take action accordingly.

Managing Consultant Availability
Beyond project status, you can also mark consultants as unavailable due to reasons such as:
Vacation
Maternity leave
Sick leave
Other absences
How to Mark a Consultant as Unavailable:
Simply click on the consultant in the timeline, select "Out of Office (OoO)", and enter the absence period. The consultant will now be marked as unavailable during this time. (See illustration below.)
