How to respond to a proposal

When you receive a Proposal request from a Flextribe client, you will get an email notification with a brief introduction and a short overview of the most important details.

Accessing the Proposal

To view the full proposal, click on "Go to Proposal" in the email. This will direct you to the Flextribe platform, where you can review all the details. (See illustration below.)

Navigating the Platform

Once inside the platform, you will see the sidebar on the left.

  • As a non-paying Flextribe client, you only have access to external proposals.

  • All new proposals will appear in your "Inbox", as shown in the image below.

Important Note:

If you are receiving proposals from multiple Flextribe clients, you can streamline your workflow by becoming a Flextribe client. This allows you to receive all proposals in a single inbox, eliminating the need to switch between different client spaces.

Responding to a Proposal

When viewing a proposal, you have two options for responding:

  1. Quick Response (CTA Buttons)

If you already have enough information from the proposal overview, you can respond directly using the quick-response buttons:

Show Interest – Click the ➕ icon to indicate that you are interested. This will notify the client that you are open to discussing the opportunity further.

Deny Proposal – If the proposal is not relevant for your company, you can reject it directly from the overview.

This quick-response method is useful when you are familiar with the client or the type of project and can make an immediate decision.

2. Reviewing the Full Proposal

If you need more information before deciding, you can click into the proposal to open it and explore all the details. Inside the proposal, you will find:

  • Detailed project scope – What the client is looking for.

  • Budget and timeline – Expected costs and deadlines.

  • Required expertise – Specific qualifications needed.

  • Client details – Who the client is and any relevant background information.

By reviewing the full proposal, you can assess whether the opportunity aligns with your capabilities and resources before making a decision.

Once inside the proposal, you can then take action by either:

Showing Interest – If the project is relevant to your business.

Denying the Proposal – If the opportunity does not align with your services.
